There are regular buses from Witney and Oxford to North Leigh on the Stagecoach bus company, bus number 11. Alighting at the end of Cuckoo Lane, close to the A4095 it is approximately a 1/2 mile walk to Elbie House, alternatively we can make arrangements to meet you.

By Air

There is a fast rail link from London Heathrow to London Paddington which connects directly with rail services to Oxford and Hanborough.

The X70 coach service is very regular from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports to Oxford.

By Road

North Leigh is on the A4095 between Witney and Woodstock.

From the East (London via M40)

• Leave the M40 at Junction 8, following signs for A40 to Cheltenham.
• At the Green Road roundabout (McDonalds on the left) take the third exit to Cheltenham on the A40.
• At the Cutteslowe roundabout take the second exit, still following signs for Cheltenham.
• At the Wolvercote roundabout take the third exit signed to Cheltenham A40.
• Go past the Tesco Express on your right and take the next turning right (opposite the Evenlode pub and restaurant), signed Freeland
• Carry straight on (country road - Cuckoo Lane) until you come to a T Junction.
• Turn left then take the first right into Boddington Lane.
• Turn first right leading to East End.
• Elbie House is approximately 1/2 a mile on the left, just before a silver telephone box.

From the South (Newbury via A34)

• Take the A34, bypassing Oxford and leave at the Peartree Interchange (signed to Woodstock - Blenheim Palace).
• Continue round the interchange (under the A34) and take the next exit signed Woodstock.
• At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A44 towards Woodstock.
• At the Yarnton roundabout take the second exit (A44 towards Woodstock).
• At the Begbroke roundabout take the second exit (A44 towards Woodstock).
• At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A4095 towards Witney.
• Go through Bladon and Long Hanborough, after you leave Long Hanborough take the turning on the right into Boddington Lane.
• Turn first right leading to East End.
• Elbie House is approximately 1/2 a mile on the left, just before a silver telephone box.

From the North (Birmingham via M40)

• Leave the M40 at Junction 9 (Wendlebury Interchange) and take the A34 towards Oxford (sign to Blenheim Palace).
• Exit the A34 at the Peartree Interchange 
• (signed to Woodstock - Blenheim Palace).
• Continue round the interchange (under the A34) and take the next exit signed Woodstock.
• At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A44 towards Woodstock.

• Carry straight on (country road - Cuckoo Lane) until you come to a T Junction.
• Turn left then take the first right into Boddington Lane.
• Turn first right leading to East End.
• Elbie House is approximately 1/2 a mile on the left, just before a silver telephone box.
